Have you ever noticed your kitchen sink smelling a bit……….or the water in your shower or bath taking ages to drain away?

Over time all the waste that you throw down your sink by mistake or not, clog these pipes. These pipes are like our arteries, clogging up with cholesterol and eventually they will block!

There are regular steps you can take to minimise this problem, or even prevent it. Possibly saving you the need to call out a drainage engineer to clear all of your waste pipes.

Step 1: Tip a whole cup of bi-carbonate of soda (or soda crystals) down the plug hole (please wear rubber gloves).

Step 2: Pour a kettle of boiling water down the plug hole after the soda.

This solution will clean your waste pipes as it goes down your plug holes and into the pipes.

This option is so much cheaper than the chemical drain cleaners you can buy from the supermarket and it is also much kinder to the environment!!
